time well spent
Spent the whole morning @ Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home.. toured around the little compound which houses 86 children age ranging from 6 to 16… visiting the Home & entering into the domitories of the children, makes me feel how fortunate my kids & myself are. From what I gathered from the volunteers there, the children from the Home are not orphans mainly, some are being brought there as their family living conditions are not suitable for the children or from single parent family whereby noone at home to take care of them.
I brought along my girl & here are some pictures for the day.
During the magic performance..
the children & the volunteers, all eyes on the magician
& including my ger too.. very entertained indeed
Christmas carolling by the lovely volunteers
during the prize giving ceremony.. our company host a Christmas card designing competition & lots of children from the Home participated & here we are giving out the prizes to those winners
Well done Children!
The first prize’s splendid work will be used for our E-Christmas card
last but not least.. one last shot before we bid farewell to the children whom said out aloud to us..
“Goodbye Kor Kor & Jie Jie
God Bless You!”
I am glad we brought a few hours of laughter & joy to the children & yes till we meet again..
Stay Blessed & Healthy Always Children!
Whoever receives one of these little
children in my name receives Me; and
who ever receives Me, receives not Me but
Him who sent Me.
Mark 9:37
